Obituary of Muriel Pitcher
Muriel S. "MooMoo" Pitcher, 80, of Wayne, ME, formerly of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Frank E. Pitcher, died Tuesday March 5, 2013. Born June 10, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late George and Vera Dragonetti, she had lived in Glastonbury many years moving to Maine 20 years ago. Muriel was a member of the Woodside Garden Club in Glastonbury, the Glastonbury Art Guild, the Friday Club in Wayne, the Wayne United Methodist Church, the Wayne Garden Club and a member of the House and Garden Tour. Muriel attended Freeport High School and Endicott College. She was married to Frank for 57 years and led her family for 60 years before leaving us last Tuesday morning. Moo was welcoming and generous to one and all; friends and neighbors, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, sons and daughters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, grandsons and granddaughters, and a great grandson are all better for having had her in their lives. She is survived by her five children and their spouses; daughter Kimberley Choiniere and her husband Paul, and their children Jennifer and her husband Dave Wilson, Brian and his wife Gina and their son Brian; son Frank Pitcher and his partner Brinna Davis and his daughter Kaolin; son Michael Pitcher and his wife Kerry and their children Michael, Shannon, Christopher and Matthew; son Douglas Pitcher and his wife Lynn and their children Jacquelyn, Timothy and Rachel; and daughter Jennifer Paternostro and her husband James and their children James, Sarah and William. Muriel also leaves behind a brother George Dragonetti and wife Elsie and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday, March 9 from 10am until 12 noon followed by a service at noon. There will be a service in Wayne, Maine one week later on Saturday, March 16th at 1 p.m. at the Wayne United Methodist Church.
