Obituary of Shirley M. Prey

Shirley Prey, of Glastonbury, CT passed away on January 7, 2021 from Covid-19.  Born in Pittsburgh, PA, and following a stint in Arenzano, Italy, she raised her family in Riverside, CT.  She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William Prey, as well as her sons Scott Prey, Jeff Prey, and her daughter Deborah (Prey) Lane.  She loved her grandchildren very much, and was loved in return by Adam and Mark Prey, Austin and Emily Prey, Scott Nelson, Katie Edwards, Jaime Sintz, Hannah Linnenberg, and B. J. Nelson.  She had a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren: Alex, Anna, Luke, Aubrey, Ryan, Charlotte, Sebastian, Summer, Sawyer, and Stone.

There will be a Service of Witness to the Resurrection and Celebration of the Life of Shirley Prey at 11:30 AM on Feb. 3, 2021 at the New Life Christian Fellowship in Wethersfield, CT.  In-person by reservation, and online (call the church for details at 860- 529-1714).
