Obituary of Nancy Marie Williams

On December 29, 2020, heaven gained another angel. Nancy Marie Williams passed away after a courageous fight with COVID. She was born on October 19, 1950, in Caribou, Maine to the late George Williams and Theresa Ouellette. Nancy retired from the USPS - Hartford P&DC Plant with over 30 years of service. She was a dedicated, loving mother, and cherished friend to her daughters who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her daughters Lynn (Levasseur) and her husband Eddie Werth, Marci (Levasseur) and her husband David Letourneau, adored grandchildren Tyler and Victoria (Tori) Werth, beloved pets Lilo and Bootsie, fur grandbabies Bella and Callie all from East Hartford, stepmother and cherished friend Donna Williams, and many other extended family members and close friends. Nancy was small in stature but larger than life. She had such a special, soft way about her and there was no way you would ever forget her. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, singing, playing the air guitar and sax to her favorite songs, sipping on her Café Francais coffee and espresso with Sambuca, family dinners, scratch tickets, watching the ID Channel, feeding the chipmunks and squirrels, but most of all just sitting with friends and family enjoying much laughter and conversation. She was always the life of any party. She will forever live on in the many lives that she has personally touched over the years. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Hartford Hospital for their love and support to Nancy and her girls. Special thank you to P.A., Katie and nurse, Amanda who held her hands and comforted her during her final moments. Family and friends may call from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, CT.
