Exceptional person. Always very generous (Mrs. Pikula as well) and educational to us growing up in the neighborhood as children. Hard-working never showing any type of physical deficit related to his prior injury. Intelligence in computers mechanics automobiles planes yard care -- you name it -- something to try and emulate as a growing child as we were always hanging out at our near your house. Mrs. Pikula Robin and Mike thinking of you guys.

Jan and family, We were sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Mike will always cherish the memories of the Tuesday gatherings and the meetings for all of the class reunions. The lunch prior to the 60th reunion and the reunion itself will always hold a special place in our hearts. Bob was one of the most humble and thoughtful individuals it was our pleasure to know. We are keeping you in our prayers.

Bob was a good man. I enjoyed talking with him in his latter years, when I would see him in his motorized wheelchair out with Jan. He had so many interests over the years and was such a son of Glastonbury. The town and all who knew him will miss him.

Jan - I am sorry to have learned of Bob's passing. We grew up together as kids, from Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and on through high school, culminating in throwing our principal, Henry Schoebel, in the pool at Ted Davis resort. He seemed fueled, at least in part, by a sense of curiosity and adventure. I am grateful we got to spend some time together last year in the events leading up to and including our 60th high school reunion. Thanks for the memories, Bob.

Jan, sorry to read of Bob's passing. He and I had a great few years together in our final years at UCONN. The red porsche, having a beer at A's and I's and the trips to see UCONN play basketball. It truly was my pleasure knowing him...

Jan: I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing last Saturday. Bob was a remarkable individual who undertook many successful endeavors. I don't know any other handicapped individual who could close to accomplishing what Bob was able to accomplish. I am honored to have had the opportunity to have known Bob. He will most certainly be missed.
