Michelle, Neil and Mark
We were so saddened to read about the passing of your mother in the Glastonbury Citizen. She was a wonderful woman, a delightful neighbor, and a friend for more than 50 years. Even though we lived so close, we didn't see each other for more than a friendly wave all the time, and a brief conversation occasionally. I will miss watching her drive by every day, just knowing that she was nearby.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Michele, Neil, and Mark,
I’m so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. Your mom and your family were a shining light in my life. My family and I lived at 33 Rolling hills Drive and I fondly remember babysitting for all of you when your parents went out for dinner or dancing. I even remember your grandmother Mrs. Lapierre. Both your parents were so loving and kindhearted. Your mom had the best smile and a heart full of love and always had a kind word to share. My childhood growing up was better because of your beautiful family. Sending you all love and hugs.
Sincerely,
Trish Oborski Buchanan

I am so sorry for the family loss. She was my dad’s, Claude Soucy, cousin and he thought of her highly. I remember her as being so warm and friendly.

Michelle, Neil, Mark. I was so sad to hear of your mother's passing. When I heard the news tonight, so many fond memories of her came rushing back to me. I can never remember a time coming to your house that I wasn't greeted with the warmest smiles and greetings from your mom. She made everyone feel welcome and was so very kind and loving. She was truly a blessing, and I am so very lucky for having known her, even for my short time in Connecticut. I know you all miss her dearly, but over time remembering the joy and love she brought to you and to others will very much outweigh the pain of her loss. I hope you are all well, and someday soon hopefully our paths will cross again.

We are very sorry to learn of the passing of Mrs. Bruneau. Your Mom will be missed. She and your Dad were good friends and neighbors with my Mom and Dad. In later years, your Mom made a point to take my Mom to Bingo and help her play as my Moms hearing loss and Alzheimer’s progressed. We will always remember your Moms big smile and even bigger generosity and kindness. Mark and Darlene Boudreau

To Carmens family
We lived next door to your family on rolling hills dr in Glastonbury for many years. Our last name is Oborski. My family has such wonderful and warm memories of your mom and dad and we remember the 3 of you fondly. Your mom was such a great friend to my mother and so kind and sweet to all of us. We babysat the 3 of you and always stopped over to chat with your mom.
Your parents shared a love that when you looked at them you always saw the twinkle in their eyes as they looked at each other. May you find peace and comfort knowing your mother was so loved by many
God Bless. The Oborski family. Helen Kathrine Steve Mary Peter Tricia

Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Carmen Bruneau, I know she was a great mother based on how thoughtful and caring her son Neil is day in and day out. To the entire Bruneau family, hoping your find peace in reliving the wonderful memories you shared with your mom. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Carmen’s door was always open, her kitchen was always warm and no one who entered wanted for food, love, guidance and most especially, laughter. She may have produced three wonderful children, but she was Mom to many more. Life will not be the same without holding court at Fairlawn.
With our love and sympathy,
Cathy and Matt Greene
