Patricia, Joanne, and Shirley: After retiring from the bank, your mother decided she had too much time on her hands, so she went to work at The East Hartford Probate Court. She was a delight to work with. I enjoyed her company and the many words of wisdom she gave me. Did you know that she announced her retirement from the Court two or three times? Each time we had a special lunch followed by a special goodbye cake. Then, within a month, she called and asked if she could come back. She was boarded. We were quite happy to have her come back. A few years later, she decided she was going to retire for good. Again, a goodbye lunch and a cake! Yep, you guessed it; another few months went by and there she was on the phone asking to come back. We always said yes because she was such a delight to work with. Although, once in a while I thought she kept quitting so she could get another cake! My heart breaks for you, and while you can no longer see her, she is still with you through the memories she left. She will always be near you, watching over you. Just know she is in the arms of the angels and is at peace. And she’ll be waiting for each one of you when your time comes. Just remember to bring a cake! I miss her. To The Kamarowski Family Please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of your Mom. She was such a sweet lady. Marian and I had become close friends while she lived at Naubuc Green. Even after she left Naubuc Green we still stayed in contact. I will miss our friendship. May She rest in peace. Donna
