Obituary of Peter Longo

Peter C. Longo, 89, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Lucille (Giannette) Longo, died Friday January 4, 2013 at the Glastonbury Health Care Center. Born June 22, 1923 in East Hartford, son of the late Dominick and Maria (Civatti) Longo, he was a lifelong resident of Glastonbury. Prior to his retirement in 1987 he had worked for MacClain Trucking in Glastonbury. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and John Printup and Beth and James O'Connell all of Glastonbury, four grandchildren, George Ives, III, Ashleigh Printup, Kolin Printup and Caitlin O'Connell and a nephew Charles Longo, Jr. and his wife Betty Lou of Glastonbury. He was predeceased by his brother Charles Longo, Sr. The family would like to thank the staff at the Glastonbury Health Care Center for their kind, loving and compassionate care. Funeral service and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
