Ray, so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He lived a long life, and a wonderful life! Such a beautiful obituary, I'm sure you helped write it! I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Denise and Jim Roman

I grew up with George's kids, Carole and Ray. Indeed, Carole was my best friend in high school, and I picked blueberries at their farm. I also grew up spending a lot of time in 'Smut' where my grandparents lived in the old mill block house where George affectionately grew up next door (before I was born). I own the land next to Smut, including Flat Rock, where he would go swimming. I also worked at Hamilton Standard, as did he, and he oft gave me rides to work when my car was in for service. I recall us discussing his military service, and oft asking about mine (Air Force). All of my memories of George and the whole family are good ones, and very perfectly nostalgic. I thank him and them for that. I'm sure there are many, many people in Glastonbury that will mourn his passing but delight in his biography. My sincere condolences on his passing. Roger Emerick
