Obituary of Franklin Isidore Rodrigues

Franklin I. Rodrigues, 57, of South Glastonbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Xiaomei (Huang) Rodrigues.

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Franklin was the son of Lina (Menezes) Rodrigues and the late Francisco Rodrigues. He was a former resident of the United Kingdom, moving to South Glastonbury 19 years ago. Franklin worked as a salesperson of commercial aircraft engines for many years. He attended St. Patrick – St. Anthony Church in Hartford.

In addition to his wife and mother, Franklin is survived by his two daughters Sophia and Celina Rodrigues of South Glastonbury, his two brothers and sisters-in-law Ivan and Michaela Rodrigues of Germany, Jeremy and Rita Rodrigues of London, his sister and brother-in-law Michelle Rodrigues-Ram and Mark Ram, also of London.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Church, 285 Church St., Hartford. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick – St. Anthony Church, 285 Church St., Hartford, CT 06103.
