I have been searching for my former grammar school art teacher who was named Mrs. Bunker for some time.
I lived in Columbia CT and attended Horace W. Porter Elementary School from 1976-1985 and I believe I may have the correct person!(?). Mrs. Bunker was someone who I will remember for the rest of my life. Mrs. Bunker was kind, patient and was a teacher I loved so dearly. My childhood was full of turmoil but I knew when I was with Mrs. Bunker, in her art class, I was valued, appreciated and I felt safe.
Mrs. Bunker was THE teacher who I will never forget because she made a tremendous difference in my life and a lasting impression of love, kindness and creativity. May her memory be a blessing. My sincerest condolences on this huge loss.

My sincere condolences to your family during this time of sorrow, may loving family and friends help you in the days ahead to cope with the loss of Elizabeth. At times like these, we can draw comfort from God's promises in the Bible. At Revelation 21:3, 4 God has promised to wipe out all our tears and eliminate our pain and death. And at John 5:28, 29 God promises a resurrection back to life in the near future. Jesus said, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."
