Obituary of Norman Campbell

Norman Dean Campbell, 84, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Anna Campbell for 59 years went to join her in heaven on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Born, December 21, 1927 to the late Katherine (Gray) and Dean Campbell, he lived in Glastonbury for 33 years. Graduated from Hartford High, class of 1946 he was a stellar athlete and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame. Retired from Pratt and Whitney where he worked his whole life after serving his country in the US Army. He and his wife were very active members of the Housatonic Carin Terrier Club and the Carin Terrier Club of America showing their beloved Carin Terriers which were their children. He is survived by his brother, Bill Campbell and many nieces and nephews who thought the world of him. He will be gravely missed by everyone who knew him. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 10:30 a.m. at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. In lieu of flower, memorial donations may be made to the Protectors of Animals, 144 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06118.
