Our old friend Marcia Magee called me with the news of Paul's passing. Both Marcia and I worked with both Linda and Paul at May, Potter, Murphy (later changed to Alexander & Alexander). I attended their wedding and knew you had both found the ''love of your life''.
Linda, I am sorry we lost touch over the years but I do recall many great and fun times we all had together.
Sincere condolences to you and your extended family.

My deepest condolences on your great loss. For many years I sat in the pew in front of Paul on Sunday mornings, served on several committees with him, volunteered with him at Food Share, talked gardening, and so many other memories come to mind. He had so many gifts and a big heart! He always made me smile!!! He was a wonderful, wonderful man and the world is a better place because of him.

My heart was heavy when I heard about Paul’s passing. He lived his faith and was inspiring in his commitment to mission outreach at First Church. I’ll miss him next to me in the back row of the Meetinghouse.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of such a wonderful human being, more so because he had come to mind several times over the last month or so, and I had planned to surprise him with a call. Paul was one of the few on the Christian Activities Council's Board who showed a real interest in the work the agency was doing in the Hartford community. He lent his expertise by providing free insurance counseling at our housing forums. Paul was a lovely, giving soul. My condolences to his family, friends and others who loved him.

To all Paul's family: I am the oldest daughter of Nancy Fraleigh Bergenty. I am so sorry for your loss. I, like my sister, Melody, remember you all as little children...especially Chris. I still quote Uncle Andy...how he taught Chris "That's a knee slapper"!
I am sorry we all don't know each other as adults, and that I haven't seen Paul, my cousin, in more than 40 years. I will be praying for all of you. Love, Nancy Jean

To all family members: I am the youngest daughter of Nancy Fraleigh Bergenty (Paul’s only living aunt on his dad’s side). I am Paul’s cousin, and I am so very sorry to hear of his passing...I haven’t seen Paul and his children since Peggy was alive, and I am also sorry about that because I remember all of you! Paul’s dad, my Uncle Andy, was always a favorite of mine, as well as Paul’s mom, my Aunt Ruth...Sending prayers, hugs and love from Freeport, Florida, to all of you...
