To Alice's family, our condolences. I worked with Alice in the 1980s back in Attleboro and all of us at the clinic, I'm certain, would join me in telling you what a joy she was to have in the office.
We were surrounded by young women and Alice was often the first person our clients met --by phone or in person. She greeted everyone alike, with dignity and her unique sense of humor.
We've all often wondered about where Alice was and now we know. She was a wonderful woman and may she rest in peace.
From Bev....and all of Alice's former colleagues

Geraldine, I was saddened to read of the passing of you Mom. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
She had a strong impact on me back in the day. We had many lively conversations in your kitchen. We never could quite agree on politics but certainly had fun trying.

I remember Alice well from her time at The Literacy Center. She always had a smile for me and was so happy when I sometimes brought my baby son with me. I enjoyed her company and her wit. She was always interested in my kids, and I sent her Christmas cards with their pictures for many years after she'd left The Literacy Center. A few years back (I don't remember when, but I assume this was when she was moving), she sent all the pictures back to me; she'd saved each one over several years! I was sorry to learn of her passing. I want to send my condolences to her family.

I fondly remember Alice. I can still see her sitting at the front desk welcoming all to the Literacy Center. Her laugh, her stories, her wit, and compassion will be remembered by many. May she Rest In Peace.
