Obituary of Edith Dewart Mulryan
Edith (Dewart) Mulryan, 97, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife for 67 years of the late Francis P. Mulryan, died Thursday September 13, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Born May 15, 1921 in Manchester, CT, daughter of the late George and Jane (Armstrong) Dewart she was raised in Manchester and had lived in Newington and Rocky Hill. Edie is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Nancy and Mark McNally of Rocky Hill, Tom and Tara Mulryan, Dan Mulryan and Maureen Pollard and Kevin and Lori Mulryan all of Glastonbury, 12 grandchildren, Ryan McNally, Justin McNally, Meghan Hickey and her husband Kevin, Erin Wilson and her husband Andy, Kaitlin Kershner and her husband Joel, Kara Willbanks and her husband Justin, Colleen Mulryan, Patrick Mulryan, Colin Mulryan and his wife Kelly, Taylor Mulryan, Sean Mulryan and Ashley Mulryan and 7 great grandchildren Avery, Reagan, Lindley, Harper, Reece, Connor and Camden. She was predeceased by 2 brothers John and William Dewart and 2 sisters Eileen Custer and Ena Bell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday Sept. 20 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wed, Sept. 19 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Rocky Hill Volunteer Ambulance, P.O.
