Obituary of Mary A. Supino

Mary A. Supino, 89, of Glastonbury, CT died Sunday July 7, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. Born October 19, 1928 in Staten Island, NY, daughter of the late Antonio and Luisa (Iosue) Supino, she had lived most of her life on Staten Island, West Hartford for 10 years moving to Glastonbury a year ago. Prior to her retirement Mary was a Legal Secretary for Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City. Mary was a member of the Columbianettes, Deborah Society, she belonged to St. Benedeto-Mount Carmel Church, St. Rita Church and St. Theresa Church on Staten Island. She was an active volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Bank. She loved to travel to Europe and visiting family in Italy with her father. Mary enjoyed traveling within New York with her 2 close friends Irma Casella and Adeline Angell. Mary is survived by her brother John M. Supino of Glastonbury, 2 nephews Joseph S. Supino and his partner Barbara, Gerard M. Supino and his partner Leslie Murphy, a niece Eileen M. Shea and her husband Patrick, 2 grandnieces Kelly M. Shea and Emily P. Shea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 11 at 11am in St. Paul Church, Glastonbury. Burial will be Thursday in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Staten Island.
