- Stephanie, the right clicking on the calnde doesn't work for some reason, I don't know if it's just me, I can do it on the rest of the page, it just won't register even when I highlight the calnde itself. Please, help! Have a nice day, Olga

I have been Betty's postman for at least 12 years. My fondest memory is talking about Maine with her and the great times she had there. She loved to talk about her life teaching and it seemed that everyone on my route had been a student of hers! She always greeted me with a smile and was so appreciative of the door to door service that she insisted on giving me candy everyday. When I told her I had to give up candy for my health she started giving me fruit. What a great lady! She will be missed.

Although ,as a teacher in Glastonbury,I did not work directly with Betty Ladd, I was aware and very much admired her many accomplishments. Her development of the award winning "Current Issues Course" at Glastonbury High School contributed significantly to Glastonbury's reputation as an excellent school system. In addition, my dear Aunt Gladys lived in Milo,Maine where Betty grew up and knew her well. She often commented to me about what a special person she was and how much she enjoyed her friendship. The world, and especially Glastonbury , is a much better place because of Betty Ladd. Most sincerely, Mary Ellen Sias
