Obituary of Curtis J. Blum

Curtis J. Blum of Wethersfield, CT died Monday (February 19, 2024) at Hartford Hospital. Born March 15, 1952, in Hartford, son of the late Eugene and Phyllis (Checovettes) Blum, he lived in Wethersfield for many years. He was preceded in death by his brother Alan and is survived by four brothers, James E. Blum and his wife Florence of Hillsborough, NJ, Terrence P. Blum and his wife Jean of Meriden, John A. Blum and his wife Maria of East Hartford and Kevin P. Blum of Middletown; five nieces and nephews and their children; and many cousins. Curtis enjoyed music, old TV shows and watching sports – Boston Red Sox and Celtics and the Dallas Cowboys. He volunteered for many years at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford.
