Obituary of Deborah M. Gallicchio

Deborah M Gallicchio (Nelson) 69 passed away on January 12, 2024 surrounded by her family.  She was born in New York to the late Irving and Dorothy Nelson.  They later settled in Glastonbury, CT. where she graduated from Glastonbury High School class of 1972. Her high school years she was employed at Franklin Pharmacy Luncheonette where she enjoyed working alongside her sisters. Debbie also worked for many years at Nabisco.  Later in years she made the move to Ft. Lauderdale Florida.  She loved living in Florida and often said it was like being on vacation every day.  While living in Florida she worked at DeCamp Realty where she made many life long friends.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents Irving (Bud) and Dorothy Nelson, her brother Irving (Skip), also her partner of many years Roger Jordan.  Deb leaves her loving sisters Patti Nelson of Manchester, Kathy Price and husband Ray of Glastonbury. She leaves behind six nieces, Lisa, Amie (Matt), Christina (Joey), Kathryn, Karrie (Otto), Nicole (Dan). Great nieces, Cassie, Marissa, Lilli.  Great nephews, Keith, Michael, Connor.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00 am at Ss. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. There are no calling hours.
