Obituary of Olivia Santos

Olivia (Reis) Santos, 70, of Cromwell, formerly of Glastonbury passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was the beloved wife of Robert Santos.

Born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, Olivia was the daughter of the late Manuel B. and Maria (Loura) Reis. She grew up in Hartford, moved to Glastonbury where she and Robert raised their family, and later moved to Cromwell. Olivia worked as a manager for the Aetna for many years and was later able to enjoy many years of retirement.

In addition to her husband, Olivia is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law. Tanya and Michael Kostrzewa of Myrtle Beach, SC and Nancy and Anthony Brodeur of Jupiter, FL and her grandchildren Anthony, Vivian, Brielle and Kayleigh, her brother Manny Reis and his partner Andrea Sands, her sister-in-law Maria Reis, brother-in-law and sister-in-law George and Brenda Santos and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Jose and Antonio Reis; sisters Maria Soares and Hilda Cardoso. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated and open to family and friends on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 50 Kane St., Hartford. Burial will be private.
