Obituary of Margery L. Benoit

Margery “Marge” (Lamoureaux) Benoit, 86, beloved wife of the late Albert L Benoit, Jr. passed away peacefully at Manchester Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 7, 2025 following a short illness. Margery, the daughter of Raymond and Edith (Castine) Lamoureaux was born September 24, 1938 in Plattsburgh, NY. She married in 1963 and moved to Glastonbury in 1965. She worked hard all her life, along with her husband, to enjoy life and provide for their two children. Margery was a wonderful, loving woman and was loved by all who knew her. She worked at Sears, starting at the catalog counter when her children were young and was the human resource manager at the time of her retirement after 35 years with the company. “Marge” is survived by her two children, her daughter, Karen Benoit of Vernon, and her longtime boyfriend Timothy Quinn, and her son Kevin Benoit of Glastonbury, and her beloved granddaughter Rebecca (Benoit) Hayes. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
