I will forever cherish the memories of Martin and Perry's mom, along with Mr. Dickau, hosting parties after the Connecticut River Raft Race. We would be exhausted and sunburned, but the Dickaus' generous hospitality and fine food were always the capstone on a great day of fun and friendship. I can still taste the Mississippi Mud pie.
