It was a true pleasure to have known Pat, as she was a very kind and caring person. We got to know her living at Chestnut Hill condos and enjoying picnics, working on the grounds, or just chatting with her on walks. It was always a pleasure. We are so sorry for your loss and you are in our prayers. Jim and Ann Spencer

The world has lost a charming and generous soul who gladly gave sustenance, comfort, and guidance to those of us lucky enough to have spent some time walking on the path beside her. We love you and will miss your smile Aunt Pat.

On behalf of the entire Colebrook Village staff i want to send our sincere condolences to Patricia’s whole family. I personally feel blessed to have had the privilege of not only caring for Pat in her final months but MORE blessed to have gotten to know and befriend her. She was an amazingly caring woman! She was Genuine, kind, classy, smart, funny, witty and full of so much joy and extreme kindness !! I will forever be grateful to have know her. I wish i met her before her health was failing, we would have been best of friends. She always called me Marjorie ( apparently i reminded her of her neighbor/friend who's name was Marjorie ) i never corrected her because it didnt much matter to me. It was her warm heart and her love she showed me every single day. When i would tell her i loved her , she would always say, “I love you more!” And i knew she truly meant it! We had a great friendship and for that i very blessed! The last time i saw her ,she was sitting at the dinner table waiting for her meal, i squatted down to be eye to eye with her, I told her i loved her and that i was worried about her.” She leaned into me and placed her forehead on mine, looked me square n my eyes and said,”don't you worry about me Marjorie, ill be just fine!”
Until we meet again Miss Pat! I hope your with your Mom, dad and Chicky! Love, Janet Urgo /aka Marjorie

Some of my fondest memories are visiting my cousins in Glastonbury because Aunt Pat was such a loving person she had a very warm heart! One of my most memorable experiences was biting into a fried egg that was cooked in butter, I cook them and scrambled eggs in butter to this day one heck of a memory from over 65 years ago. Rest In Peace my dear Aunt and God’s loving grace and strength to your family.

Even more beautiful on the inside-Pat you are the best Mother in law a woman could have, you welcomed me into the family with open arms and treated me like your daughter. You never once failed to tell me, and show me you loved me-and I hope you know how much I love and admire you. I am so lucky to have had someone in my life like you, it makes saying goodbye so very hard. I will carry you in my heart until we meet again. Thank you Mom, for all the love, help and guidance you gave me in my journey, Always an attentive ear, great sense of humor, terrific cook and friend to my friends. You leave a legacy that can be thoughtfully approached, but truly difficult to equal. It's no wonder at all, that Dad fell head over heels for you, not just for your incredible beauty and intellect, but because - even after losing you own Mom at 3 years old, you were always humble and gave back to so many. Dad told me many times "Your Mom could be very successful at anything she wanted", and the facts prove she was, whether raising a family, hosting one of many parties, investing, or co-authoring a book. A one in a million, always to be remembered and never forgotten.
I'll love you always,
Jimmy
