I knew Ken from the years we both worked at Brand-Rex in the information technology department. I remember him as a guy with a great sense of humor, a smart person (especially with the stock market – he even persuaded me to buy some shares of Grossman's Lumber, a company that soon went bust!) I'm still in shock from seeing his obit, since he was so much into fitness and health back then, involved with running (including the annual Brand-Rex Road Race) and biking. He's a year younger than me, and I certainly expected him to outlive me.
Karen, you were just about the nicest person I knew during our time at Brand-Rex/Brintec, and I'm so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To Karen, Brett & Kendra
My deepest condolence.
When we first met thru the Lawson's we had so much in common, our names, running biking, triathlons, skiing and telling stories over apre cold beers. His readiness the next morning for another athletic adventure was truly inspirational. My admiration for Ken will always exist.

Ken was a close friend of my dad and family, I have known him my whole life. I always got excited to see Ken he was such a positive and nice person to be around. He was a natural athlete and excelled at every sport football, soccer, basketball, biking, running, you name it!!! I reminder playing basketball with him as a kid and he could beat me with both his right and left hand shot. Ken always listened and cared about others and was upbeat and fun to be around. I have great memories of running road races, watching Celtics playoff games at Brand Rex, skiing, and going to Las Vegas with him and my father & brother we would laugh and talk for hours about sports, memories, and our families. He will always be remember and will be missed!

Ken was a friend of 50 years . A stand up guy
never had a bad word to say about anybody.
A tremendous athlete talented committed
and never gave up . We ran over 500 races
together my most vivid memory of Ken was
in the cape cod Ironman . In the 2.4 mile swim
the cut off for continuing was 2hr 30 min . Ken
came out of the water in 2hr 29 minutes. I came
out in 1hr 30 min . On the 112 mile bike Ken
Passed me at 90 miles . He went on to run
26.2 miles and finished the event . I have no
more respect for anyone a great friend I will
always honor and never forget .
