Obituary of Rosalie Milazzo

Rosalie (Riscica) Milazzo, 92, of Cromwell passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was the widow of Salvatore G. Milazzo.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Rose was the daughter of the late Pietro and Grazia (Pisciotta) Riscica. She has been a Cromwell resident for many years, moving from Glastonbury twenty-two years ago. Rose had a love for knitting especially hats & sweaters for needy children. Also enjoyed cooking & baking especially at the holidays. She had a special talent for making beautiful handmade oriental rugs. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren

Surviving are her three daughters Linda R. Siemienski and her husband John of FL, Marie Roncaioli and her husband Robert of Amston, Kathleen G. Milazzo Swahn and her husband Bryan of Glastonbury, her son Joseph S. Milazzo and his wife Michele of Coventry, her grandchildren Robert L. Roncaioli, Matthew S. Roncaioli and his wife Beth, Gracelyn Swahn Vose and her husband Scott, Michael L. Swahn, Aaron C. Swahn and Joseph P. Milazzo. In addition to her husband and parents, Rose is predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Charles Riscica and her sisters Frances Saporito and Vincenza Cavallero.

Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
