Obituary of Ramona E. McRae
Ramona (Eastman) McRae, 92, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of George G. McRae, died Tuesday November 23, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Born June 15, 1929 in Belleville, NY, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (McConnell) Eastman, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1977. She was a graduate of Cornell University. Ramona was the librarian at the East Glastonbury Public Library. Besides her husband she is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Joan Baker of Columbus, Georgia, Douglas and Sandra McRae of Pierrepont Manor, NY, Susan and Jonathan Durkee of Lynnfield, MA., 10 grandchildren, Douglas McRae, Megan McRae, Catherine Rexford, Alexandra Krisko, Christopher Scott, Cannon Baker, Matthew Baker, Jeffrey Durkee, Andrew Durkee, William Durkee, 7 great grandchildren, Owen, Luke, Emmett, Ethan, Nathan, Chase and Hannah. She also leaves her sister Rosemary Eastman of Glastonbury. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Richard and Robert Eastman and her sister Ranita. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday Dec. 4 from 2-4pm.
