Mass of Christian Burial
Obituary of Darcy A. Mott
Darcy Ann Mott, born Sept 6, 1956, passed away on Aug. 29, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital, where she was born and where she worked for 27 years as a nurse of the highest caliber. Her passing was peaceful and she was surrounded by her loving family.
Darcy was a graduate of A. I. Prince Technical Institute and Capital Community College where she distinguished herself as a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was a recipient of The Helping Hands and Caring Award. She took care of her patients as if they were family.
But her most precious role was as Aunty Darcy. She was the quintessential aunt. She loved her nieces and nephews more than anything in this world. Each of them had their own special connection with her.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Francis Hospital for the excellent care they provided Darcy.
Our family will be forever grateful for the years she cared for our mother who had MS.
She is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Holly (Taylor) Mott, her brother-in-law, Joseph “Big Joe” Daddario, and her beloved nephew, Brian Albert. She leaves behind her six sisters and brother and their families. Her sisters: Jondahl Mott, Holly (Stephen) Dudley, Kelly (Paul) Mott-Sacks, Malin Daddario, Mary Tracy (Garry) Albert, Grace (Rick) Mason, and her brother, Harry (Andrea) Mott. She also leaves behind the loves of her life, her “kittens”, her nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Meotti (Yaddiel Fonseca); Luke (Rebecca) Dudley; Beau Dudley (Nicole Jamison); Olivia Dudley; Ally (Brendan) Feeney; Cooper (Valeska) Sacks; Isabelle Sacks; Joseph (Heather) Daddario; Nick Daddario; Danielle (Nick) Perry; Olivia and Ava Mott; Mikayla and Liam Mason; and her grand nieces and nephews: Javon and Jaide Hodge; Madeline and Robby Olwert; Bella Sacks; Hazel Daddario; and Desmond and Roland Perry.
