Obituary of Eleanor Rawlings

Eleanor (Standrowicz) Rawlings, 86, of Glastonbury passed away peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Hughes Health and Rehabilitation, West Hartford. She is the widow of William S. Rawlings.

Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Irene (Spahl) Standrowicz. Eleanor earned her Associate Degree at Becker College and worked at Pratt and Whitney as an administrative assistant for many years.

She loved boating on Webster Lake, spending summers there.  She also enjoyed baking for her family.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law David and Pamela Rawlings of MA, her daughter Jean Rawlings of Glastonbury, her two grandchildren, Marissa and Matthew Rawlings and her granddog Trevor.

Funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, c/o Fund Development Office, Hartford Hospital, 80 Seymour St., Hartford, CT. 06102-5037.  There are no calling hours.
